PORTUGUESE


Some adjectives in Portuguese are independent of noun gender. Some adjectives in Portuguese change based on the gender of the noun. Adjectives that modify feminine nouns end with -a, and adjectives that modify masculine nouns end with -o. Some examples are shown below:
