ADJECTIVES- ADJECTIVES OF PLURAL NOUNS
The rules for constructing the adjectives to modify plural nouns are simple
in French, Portuguese, and Spanish. German presents more of a challenge because adjectives in German depend on multiple factors--gender: masculine,
feminine or neuter, case: nominative, accusative, dative, or genitive--in addition to singular vs. plural.
For Portuguese and Spanish, there is a congruency between the rules for constructing a plural noun and the rules for constructing the adjective that modifies the plural noun.
