Miscellaneous - Negation


As a general rule, if a sentence needs a no, put it before the verb.

We don't have bananas.

No tenemos bananas.




Examples provided from the Magellan Space Voyages


  • No puedo creer que estemos abandonando La Tierra."
    (No I can) I can't believe that we are leaving Earth.

  • No soy una experta en primates.
    (No I am) I am not an expert in primates.

  • ..me doy cuenta de algo en lo que no había pensado antes..
    ..I realize something that (no I have) I haven't thought of before..
