The computer program included examples of objects, themes or
ideas. It showed how the movement of the hands of a watch
corresponded to the change from day to night. It showed
several screens with a person jogging {jogging is running,

Olympic athlete doing the one hundred yard dash, and a chase
scene in a movie, to illustrate the verb "to run." After each
word, the program returned to a main window with twenty or so
different pictures. The person using the program could pick a
window that showed what interested him.
